The minimum corner radius of all square and rectangular cutouts will be at 0.031", and the tolerance of machined features will be as close as +/-0.005". But these data are ultimately determined by the machined feature and selected enclosure. It is suggested that the size of the cutouts is .040" larger than that of the component (or .020" for round cutouts). Sometimes, certain features that require a non-standard approach may cause the machining price to increase. All of these factors should be taken into consideration when the order is placed, so please specify your requirements when submitting your RFQ online.

The covers will not fit anymore when the base is machined down as the enclosure covers are made to fit closely to the enclosure. Thus, just when it comes to potting boxes or applications that do not need a cover, this would be recommended.
Yes, it is. If you need, we can machine down the height, or remove the mounting bosses due to their height being only 1/4". And they normally do not affect the desired application, but if they do, we can try to machine them out or shorter. In addition, some of our enclosures are available with or without the bosses.
